Urticaria – Treatment and Diagnosis

Urticaria is diagnosed as itchy red rash on the body parts. Urticaria is a skin condition that causes an itchy rash or hives. Symptoms lasting less than six weeks are diagnosed as acute urticaria while anything persisting longer than six weeks is categorised as chronic.

Treatments:
• Antihistamine tablets
• Steroid tablets
• Avoiding tight clothes, trying to keep cool, avoiding alcohol, hot baths,
strong sunlight and any undue stress or emotion or staying away from
some medicines like anti-inflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofen,
codeine or ACE inhibitors.

• Urticaria treatment using Mint
• Urticaria treatment using Salt
• Urticaria treatment using Alum and Red Ochre
• Urticaria treatment using Turmeric
• Urticaria treatment using Rose-Water and Vinegar
