Tips to avoid obesity

• Choose fruits and vegetables instead of processed or convenience foods.
• Stock up healthy snacks.
• Never use food as a reward or punishment.
• Avoid deep frying. Bake, roast or steam instead.
• Have whole grain chapattis or bread.
• Make mealtime a family event.
• Do not eat in front of the television.
• Physical activity builds strong bones and muscles.
