New Cancer Drug developed
June 9th 2010 14:19
Australian Scientists have developed a drug to treat liver cancer and the medicine would be available within two to three years. The clinical trails showed the drug significantly inhibited the growth of a cancer and its spread to other organs. For any primary tumor to be grown beyond about a millimeter in diameter, it needs to induce new blood vessels to grow into it. This new wonder drug inhibits those new blood vessels growing. This drug is most likely ready for the treatment of liver cancer within two years.
